Thank you for considering Elevation Cakes as your source for the best cakes & sweets! Please be sure to read all of the following information to avoid delay in processing your request. 

This form is used for custom cakes, dessert table treats and signature cupcake inquiries only. We specialize in wedding, glam, and abstract art cakes; please review our Instagram to get a sense of our design style and ensure it fits your needs, prior to submitting an inquiry. 

Orders will be confirmed via email and payment will be requested in the form of an invoice (via PayPal).  Please be prepared to answer the following questions: 

1. When is the date of your event? (a minimum of 2 weeks is required; your date will be verified based on current availability)  

2. How many people will the cake feed?   

3. Do you have any inspiration pictures or ideas for your cake? If so, please email them to order@elevationcake.com 

4. Do you want fondant covered cake, or buttercream with fondant decorations? Most cakes need not be covered in fondant as we specialize in smooth buttercream with fondant decorations. 

Q: What is a custom cake?

Any themed cake that is above and beyond the call of regular cake. This may include fondant pieces, abstract structures, florals, or attention to detail that is unlike your traditional bakery style cake. Bakery style cakes are only offered during promotions, unless the request meets the order minimum below. 

If you are requesting a wedding cake quote, please also include the following information:

Order Minimum: $75

Pricing: Pricing is based on several factors, including but not limited to, level of intricacy, cake flavor, fillings, etc. Custom cakes start at $75 or $9 per serving, whichever is greater.

A 50% non-refundable, non-transferable retainer is required to book. However, if your pickup/delivery date is less than 4 weeks away or your order total is less than $75, the full balance is due at the time of booking. Deposits and Invoices not paid by the due date will be cancelled and your quote will be null and void.

RUSH ORDERS: A rush order is a last minute request, giving less than 14 days notice. Occasionally, we are able to accept last minute request. In this case, a rush fee starting at 25% of your order subtotal will be accessed and is based on the amount of notice given. The least amount of notice, the higher the rush fee. 

**Less than a 1 week notice is not advised as we book very quickly**

Please note, flavor and design options may be limited based on product availability; however, it will still be nothing short of amazing!

What to expect next? Once your order is submitted, you will receive a response or quote at the email address provided within 48 business hours (occasionally up to a week during high volume periods). You may visit our contact page for our business hours. Please be as detailed as possible and provide all requested information in the below message field order to avoid delay in processing your request. Also, double check your email address for typos. Inspirational pictures are solely for inspiration; as a cake designer and artist, we do not replicate the work of other designers.

Curbside Cake Pickups are located in Sterling, Virginia and scheduled on the following days/hours, based on availability...

Monday- Thursdays: 

9am-4pm

Fridays: 

9am- 6pm 

Saturdays:

8am- 2pm

Sunday:

Delivery options are available and start at $15 for Sterling/Ashburn/Herndon locations (not including wedding cakes). Wedding cake deliveries start at $75 and varies based on locations within the DC/MD/VA local area. Outside of a 35 mile radius will require a quote. If you opt to pickup cakes, a waiver is required to be signed and filed to resolve Elevation Cakes LLC if any damage once cake has left our premises. We always recommend desserts be placed on a FLAT surface and in a cool vehicle to prevent any damage to your desserts. 

**WE DO NOT RECOMMEND LONG TRAVEL TIMES WITH CAKE AND STRONGLY ADVISE NOT TO OPT FOR SOFT FILLINGS IF TRAVELING WITH CAKE AS IT CAN LEAD TO DAMAGE/STABILITY ISSUES.***
